ORE4x4 UK was the brainchild of a few (slightly drunken) blokes and a couple of old Land Rovers….. Well what else did you expect?
The founders Chris and Simon are both time served, apprentice trained engineers, who have nearly 50 years engineering, design and manufacturing experience between them. They love to spend their spare time tinkering with their collection of old and new defenders.
The concept of ORE is to bring a select range of high quality aftermarket products to Land Rover enthusiasts. As well as as manufacturing our own products we will also source and test a range of high-quality aftermarket products from other manufacturers so that we can fully guarantee and audit quality.
All of our ORE branded products are designed and manufactured in Great Britain. Manufacturing products exclusively in Great Britain is not the only way we are different, ORE is recruiting a Founding Member Team, to extend the development and testing of products to a hand-picked group of Defender enthusiasts; our products will be fully tested and reviewed by Land Rover lovers!

One of our frustrations as Land Rover enthusiasts was the poor service we received when purchasing aftermarket accessories. We lost track of the number of times we tried to call or email a supplier for advice, missing fixings, damaged items or late deliveries! Since starting ORE, we’ve worked hard to improve our customer service and looking at our feedback and reviews, its fair to say were doing a pretty good job of keeping our fellow enthusiasts happy so far!

We know from experience that what happens in our design packages doesn’t translate into reality, so we test each product rigourously before offering it on sale to our fellow enthusiasts. Our commitment to testing each product to it’s breaking point has resulted in huge customer loyalty and now our products are loved around the world, from the Midlands through Malawi, Mexico & beyond!

British Manufacturing & Zero Tolerance to Copycats
At ORE, we are proud to be part of the Great British Manufacturing industry and support other British businesses by sourcing our components and raw materials from UK businessess. Whilst it’s true that there’s a premium cost to British-made products, it’s important to support a historical industry which has been responsible for some of the best quality products and most-loved brands we all use everyday. Because of amount of time and money British companies spend developing new ideas and products, we’ve decided to take a stand against copycat products and have appointed downing IP to manage any legal disputes we run into.
